We make a “New York” Style Bagel. What does this mean? The term “New York” refers to a boiling process before baking. The Boiling process yields a hard exterior shell, while keeping the inside chewy, true to a New York bagel. This unique process offers a different bagel that most westerners aren't familiar with. The bagels are made and baked daily on site. We search for and use only the highest quality ingredients for our bagels, cream cheeses, sandwiches, and coffees. We add no preservatives to our products. Our cream cheeses are whipped daily and sandwiches made to order. Check out our MENU on this website. Feel free to call or visit us.

History
The Bagel Stand has been serving the Truckee Meadows since 1992. In 2002 Jeramy Whitaker purchased it from a local couple. He had the American Dream of owning his own business. Since then Whitaker and his staff have been striving to grow and improve the business. In 2005 The Bagel Stand went through a drastic remodel, changing to an updated modern look.
About Us
Owner, Jeramy Whitaker is a third generation Nevadan. In fact his Grandparents Eugene and Beatty Tiball met and graduated from Reno High School. His Great Grandfather, E.A. Sorensen settled in Fallon, Nevada in 1929. Whitaker graduated from Churchill County High School in Fallon. He currently lives in Reno with his wife Hailey and sons Parks and Cannon.
